The Big Yellow Path Weekend Retreat
Sitges, Spain • October 2-5, 2026
This weekend has been created to bring our Five-Element acupuncture community together in a meaningful and supportive way.
Working in practice can sometimes feel isolating, so time spent together helps strengthen the bonds that remind us we are part of a wider circle of like-minded practitioners. It is also a valuable chance to refresh and deepen our skills in point location, pulse taking and diagnosis through CSOE, all of which need ongoing practice and can easily lose clarity outside a regular learning environment.
By coming together with colleagues and with the support of more senior practitioners, we can learn from one another and return to practice feeling more confident, more skilled and more connected. The weekend has also been planned with plenty of space to enjoy it socially, with a long lunch break each day from 1pm to 4pm for time with partners, family or friends, to enjoy Sitges, swim, visit Barcelona or simply relax.
While the supervisory team will offer guidance and as much clarity as possible, we hope everyone comes in a spirit of camaraderie and shared learning. Everyone is warmly welcome and we will be working from the points in Volume 1 (the Red Book), using pulses recorded in volumes rather than qualities and diagnosis through colour, sound, odour and emotion only.

We recommend booking accommodation in central Sitges, ideally close to Hotel Calipolis, so that you are near the seafront, restaurants and the workshop venue. Hotel Calipolis itself is on the seafront promenade, so using that as your reference point will make things easiest.
There are plenty of options within easy walking distance, including hotels, hostels, and apartment-style stays to suit different budgets and preferences.
We encourage you to book your accommodation as soon as possible after paying your deposit, as availability in Sitges can become more limited in October. The options above include seafront hotels, central budget hotels and apartment providers in the town centre.
You are welcome to choose whichever option suits you best, but staying close to Hotel Calipolis / Passeig de la Ribera / central Sitges will make the experience simpler and more convenient.
Travel and accommodation are not included and must be arranged by participants (flights/trains/lodging).
